Saturday’s Women’s Super Series match between London Genesis Futsal Club and Cheshire Futsal Club Ladies has been cancelled following two positive Covid cases at London Genesis.
London Genesis made the FA NFS League Management Committee aware as soon as the test results came through positive and the squad and coaches are now self-isolating. Sadly, this does mean that London Genesis Futsal Club will not continue in this season’s FA National Futsal Series Summer Showdown as it’s a short competition.
Cheshire will be awarded the three points for this weekend’s forfeited match.
We thank London Genesis for the speed at which they informed the LMC so that swift action could be taken and we wish everyone a speedy recovery. This does not affect the London Genesis men’s team, but as part of good practice, they will be testing their men’s team.
