Welcome to The FA National Futsal Series / Summer Showdown.
We couldn’t wait to get back on the court. We’ve spent the past year looking at how we can create the best futsal experience this country has seen. The Summer Showdown was born.
This cup competition will decide the top men and women’s futsal clubs in England. Here’s what you need to know.
Women’s Super Series
The Women’s Super Series’ edition of the Summer Showdown sees the teams play nationally for the first time, with clubs from the North & South divisions in the same groups.
All matches will be played at central venues, with five fixtures a day – each showcasing the entertainment, excitement, passion, and skills you expect from the Women’s Super Series.
The eleven participating clubs have been split into three groups with each team playing the other teams in their groups once. After the Group Stage, the three group winners and the best placed runner up will play in a Semi-Final on the 12th June (runners up of the two groups of four will only have their matches against the group winners and third place taken into consideration for comparison).
The winning Semi-Finalist will then play in the Grand Final on the 27th June to be crowned the best Woman’s Futsal Club in England.

National Futsal Series One
The men’s top-flight futsal competition in England sees eight teams competing in two groups of four, with the group winners progressing to the Grand Final on the 27th June.
The winning team will be nominated to compete in the Men’s UEFA Futsal Champions League but, more importantly, will be the men’s futsal champions of England.
Derby Futsal Club gets there first taste of tier one futsal replacing Kent United for the Summer Showdown – this was decided by a draw witnessed by all National Futsal Series One clubs.

National Futsal Series Two
The second tier of men’s futsal in England sees twelve clubs compete in four groups, with each team playing the other teams in their groups once, with a total of two matches in the group stage.
The winners of each group will progress to the Semi-Finals to be played on the 13th June. The finalists will kick-off the Grand Final on the 27th June.
The northern Clubs make up Group A, with Loughborough Students Development and Team Sunderland being joined by York Futsal for their first National Futsal Series season. Group B sees the ‘Griffins’, Bedford Futsal Club, compete against two new National Futsal Series Clubs in Wessex & Sporting Club Southend. Group C has London Escolla against the Red & Yellow of Reading Royals and the Gold of ProFutsal London Development. Finally in Group D, London Genesis takes on Chelsea Futsal Foundation and Cambridge Futsal Club.
